Vex Ultrasonic Range Finder Kit

Observations:
Assembly screws appear to be red loctited (permanent, but not really). Is it for tamper proofing or to keep the screws in during normal operation? Probably the latter.

Vex Bumper Switch Kit

The vex bumper switches are just normally open switches, the leads are color coded black, red and white. The red is cut and connects to nothing. Only the black and white are used for the switch.
